Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express (12650) is a day train to Hampi. Check into hotel and start exploring Hampi from sunrise, next day morning.

ou can start late night from Hyderabad (11pm) and arrive at Hospet by 10am, next morning. After checking in a hotel or guesthouse in the Hampi village area you can start the sightseeing by afternoon.Kacheguda - Vasco Da Gama/Hubli Express (Train No:17603) is a slip route train. At guntakal Junction this train is connected to another Hospet bound train ( 2hrs halt at Guntakal).
Hospet to Hyderabad Trains
On Mondays,Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, book the return ticket from Hospet to Kacheguda by Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express(12649). This is the most convenient train with night schedule, leaving you the full day to explore Hampi. This is a night train you can board after dinner at Hospet town. For other days try one of the Amaravati Express.
On Fridays, you can also consider the Vasco Da Gama - Hyderabad Express ( Train No. 17022) to Hyderabad or Vasco - Jasidih Express ( 17321) to Secunderabad.

The above were the direct train options. If you are willing for a split the journey, get a train to Guntakal Jn. There are frequent connections to Hospet from Guntakal.
The Hyderabad-Hubli Express (Train No:17320) travels to Hubli via Badami (BDM) and Gadag (GDG). If you plan to cover Badami,Aihole, Pattadakal also as part of Hampi trip, take this train and get down at Badami.
You can not get a direct train from Badami to Hospet. But if you get down at Gadag Jn, it's on the relatively busy Hubli-Hospet route.
Consider the Hubli Express (Train No:17320) or the return Secunderabad Express (Train No:17319) may be a great option for onward/return travel, if your larger itinerary plan includes places like Badami, Pattadakal or Aihile along with Hampi.
