When you arrive at the Royal Enclosure area from the Queen’s Bath, this is the first point where you would stop. This is located between the northwest corner of the Royal Enclosure and the mud track that goes around it. Those arriving by bicycle or moped can park it near the Stone Doors and go inside the area.
The curators positioned the fallen doors at an angle so that it is possible to see the details on its front and back surfaces. It seems the artisans succeeded in creating the replica of wooden ornamented doors in stone. The doors are complete with door bolts and the pivot shafts at the end. Note the beveled mullions with the array of protruding lotus buds at its junctions, a typical feature of massive wooden doors. In all probability it required an elephant to push open these door panels during its functional days.
From this point you can walk into the Royal Enclosure or continue further along the mud path that head towards Zenana Enclosure via the Hazara Rama Temple.
