he Hampi festival (Hampi Utsava) is celebrated every year at Hampi to commemorate the glory of the bygone Vijayanagara empire.Hampi Utsav 2015 is scheduled from 9 Jan to 11 Jan 2015. Various artistes of national and international fame would be giving their performances at the Hampi Utsav 2015.
Hampi Utsav 2015 include performance by Kaivalya Kumar Gurav, T.S. Satyavathi, Pandit Parameshwar Hegde, Himesh Reshamiya, Mikka Singh, Shalmali Kolgodu, Richa Sharma and other popular artists.
Puppet Shows, Mud Wrestling, Fireworks, Folk Dance, Drama , Classical Music ... and a spectacular procession to mark the grand finale, all in the backdrop of the ruins of Hampi makes the Hampi Festival (Hampi Utsav) special.
Apart from Karnataka, artists and troupes from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu and also international artistes from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Africa would also be performing this years Hampi Utsav.
