There are no direct trains from Chennai to Hospet ( for Hampi). However if you are willing to split your journey there are some feasible connections.

There are some private buses directly to Hospet from Chennai. Meenakshi Travels operate Non A/C Sleeper (2+1) overnight service to Hospet. Further you can travel to Hampi by local bus/auto rickshaw.
